MSC Divina Detailed Description

MSC Divina is a cruise ship having a passenger capacity amounting to 4345 people, and belonging to the Fantasia project. The vessel was launched in May 2012. MSC Divina, like all the cruise ships attributed to the Fantasia category, is equipped with the MSC Yacht Club VIP area. 


Accommodation


The area of interior cabins equals 13-17 sq. m., accommodating up to 4 passengers. Pullman beds serve as additional accommodation.

Oceanview cabins having an area of 12-21 sq.m. are located on decks 5 and 8. The maximum number of passengers such a cabin can accommodate is equal to 4. Additional sleeping places are represented by Pullman upper beds.

Balcony cabins have an area of 12-22 sq. m. There is a table and chairs on the balcony. A folding sofa represents additional sleeping accommodation. There are 1044 balcony cabins on the cruise ship.

Please, pay attention to the following! The cabins located on the stern of the 13th deck have a french balcony. It can be seen on the deck plan, and such cabins are marked with an asterisk. The balcony width amounts to one meter approximately, but because of the slant of the glass balcony rail, its width above is reduced by half a meter.

28 suites with an area from 21 to 47 square meters are located on decks 9, 10, and 11 of the bow part of the cruise ship. All the corner suites have two rooms and a balcony whereas one-room suites have a panoramic window.  

There are 64 suites with balconies belonging to the  Deluxe category and having an area of 26 - 32 sq.m., 2 two-room suites with balconies and an area of 36 sq. m. belonging to the Royal category, and 3 two-room suites of the Executive and Family suites having a panoramic window and an area of 45-53 sq. m. located in the MSC Yacht Club area.

Each cabin is equipped with a TV, a safe deposit box, a conditioning system, a hair dryer, a telephone, a mini bar, an ice bucket, and several glasses. Swimming pool towels can be found in the cabin as well. Two 220-V sockets and the same quantity of 110-V sockets can be found in each cabin. 



The bathrooms in the cabins are spacious enough. Shower cabins have doors instead of curtains. There is a liquid soap dispenser installed for washing hands. The dispensers containing shampoo and shower gel can be found in the shower cabin. The bathrooms of the suites are equipped with full-sized baths.

Food


The cost of a cruise includes food served in the following restaurants:

Buffet “Calumet&Manitou” represents the main restaurant serving food according to the buffet system, and is located on deck 14. Breakfast here is available from 6:30 to 11:30, lunch is served from 12:00 to 16:00, and dinner is offered from 18:30 to 21:30. Pizza is cooked from noon up to midnight.  

The Black Crab Restaurant is the à la carte restaurant that can be found on decks 5 and 6. It is open for breakfast from 7:30 to 9:30, lunch there is served from 12:00 to 14:00, and dinner is available as well. During breakfast and lunch, free seating is usually practiced whereas for dinner every passenger has a designated table.

Villa Rossa Restaurant ​is an à la carte restaurant located on deck 6. It is available only for dinner.
