Cruise Ship Peculiarities

- Lack of the covered swimming pool

MSC Poesia Passengers’ Reviews

Vlad52: "It is a good vessel deserving a solid "four". If the price is attractive and the itinerary is exciting don’t hesitate to choose it. It would be better if the ship had a covered swimming pool as MSC Magnifica has. Interior decorations deserve 4, the cabin wins 5 points, food gets 4, whereas service and entertainment can get 5”.

Alexandra: "I traveled on the MSC Poesia cruise ship to the Norwegian fjords which is an amazing beauty! I’ve got a lot of impressions! I liked the cruise ship itself, of course, as well as the numerous cafes, bars, and entertainment. It is felt that it is an Italian cruise line (which is reflected both, in interior design and cuisine). The staff on board is very friendly and the service is perfect! In general, emotions are exceptionally positive. I was on a cruise alone, and yet, I was not bored, as I met a lot of interesting people and made new acquaintances, so I always had ideas about where to go and whom to talk to. I noticed that there was a wonderful kids’ club on board and a playground. Those who go on a cruise with children need not worry that they can be bored”.

Bondar: "The ship is beautiful both inside and outside, and yet, when I was watching a virtual tour everything seemed significantly more spacious than it turned out to be in reality. Everything was very well: check-in procedure, boarding, landing, as well as evening performances in the theater. Nevertheless, some minor flaws drew my attention. It was not our first cruise, so we unwittingly compared the ship and the cruise line with the others. There were enough shortcomings that, perhaps, could not have been noticed by all the passengers. For instance, we felt the “overcrowding” of the ship. There were a lot of people everywhere, besides, it was impossible to find a free table at the restaurant upstairs. It can be explained, of course, by the fact that it was cold enough during the cruise and as a result, open decks were almost empty, and yet, 3000 passengers turned out to be too much for a vessel of such a tonnage”.

OlgaK: "The cruise ship is very comfortable, beautiful, and clean. I had a cozy balcony cabin. We spent all our time, free of excursions on the deck near the swimming pool. It is located outdoors but we were lucky with the weather and swam. We were impressed with performances as well (especially opening and closing shows).”
